Welcome to Roseanna's Cafe – Oceanside, Oregon
It all began in the early 1980's, when a young woman named Roseanna purchased the Oceanside Cafe with a dream to have one of the best restaurants on the Oregon Coast. In 1986 Melissa Roll became an able partner in the business, now called Roseanna's Cafe. She brought energy and many innovative ideas, and a year later Melissa became the sole owner. Chefs were hired from the Western Culinary Institute, and a new menu offered gourmet sauces to compliment the variety of seafood, chicken, and pasta dishes. Scrumptious desserts, all made with the freshest ingredients, were added to the menu. A few years later Melissa bought the building, originally built in the early 1900's, that houses the restaurant. Renovations were made to create and enhance an unforgettable dining experience. Sadly, Roseanna passed away in 2002, but the restaurant that bears her name has become one of the finest on the Oregon Coast.
" I was at your restaurant in May 2008. I had the BEST sandwich there. It was turkey, cranberry, pickled red onion, and cream cheese. I had the marionberry cobbler for dessert- it was fantastic! Wish I lived closer. "

" We love Roseanna's. We were there a couple of years ago for four days over Thanksgiving weekend and and thought we'd eat there once or twice. In four days we ended up eating there six times and it was, each time, a wonderful experience. We've since been back just to dine at your restaurant with the wonderful view. Hope to see you soon! "
